Pictures of you in the hospital after the accident can be crucial, but impossible to obtain once you’ve left the hospital. Videotape of you on crutches or using a walker is extremely valuable evidence in your trial. Often times this evidence is lost. The average person does not even think of collecting that kind of evidence. Yet, this evidence can be dynamite later at your settlement conference or in front of a jury. Broken windshields and bent steering wheels are more examples of dynamite evidence that should be collected. A lawyer on your side will have no pressure or stress and thus he can work your case and protect your case as it should be protected. Usually, the injured person is in no condition to think of all the things that need to be done to protect their case. The insurance company will not alert you to the need to collect all this evidence. In fact, the insurance company is quite anxious to settle with you on your car so they can get the car out of your reach as quickly as possible. That way......you don’t have time to take pictures or get other valuable evidence
