Don't let anyone tape record your conversations. What you say could be used against you. Always remember that the insurance adjuster has many lawyers backing him up and if you try to out-fox the insurance adjuster, most of the time you will be the loser.

Plus, understand that the insurance adjuster already knows what happened because the insurance adjuster has already interviewed the person at fault, possibly interviewed many witnesses, and has seen the police report. The only reason the insurance company wants to tape record you is to try to figure out a way to make you lose! They’re trying to trip-you-up. Also, they’re trying to size-you-up to see if you are desperate enough to take a tiny check. But most importantly, they’re hoping that you say something that will hurt your case or make you look bad.
